Engineering Manager

Our Customer Core team supports internal business operations and servicing across all channels within Banking and Financial Services. Our Salesforce ecosystem, internal back-office tools and supporting services are organised across 4 product teams and 1 platform team. In this role you will work with the Product Manager as the joint Product and Engineering leadership team to lead a team of 30 Engineers and 5 Lead Engineers. You will own the engineering roadmap, platform delivery and operational health while helping to shape the long-term vision for our internal customer relationship management and tooling. You will organise the team for success, develop ownership and autonomy, and strengthen architecture, release practices, continuous delivery, on-call support and structured use of artificial intelligence assisted coding. What You Offer 5 years' of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years' of people management experience.Experience leading engineering leaders, organising teams for success and building a culture of ownership and accountability.Strong capability in architecture and system design, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and continuous integration and continuous delivery.Ability to own an engineering roadmap, make sound technical decisions and balance planned work with urgent priorities.A product and commercial mindset, with the ability to understand internal customer needs and influence Product, senior leaders and other technology teams. Salesforce experience is strongly preferred but not required.
