Senior Economic Development Officer

Permanent Full-time (average of 38 hours per week) The City of Rockingham is an award winning local government located 40km south of the Perth CBD and is known as the place where the coast comes to life. Responsible for implementing key actions from the City’s Economic Development Strategy, you will also positively promote economic development, investment and business opportunities within the City. A dynamic professional with economic and/or commercial property development experience, in either the private or public sector, you will build relationships with existing businesses, and market commercial and industrial opportunity to potential businesses, encouraging and enabling investment in the region. With previous experience in marketing for investment attraction, you are also able to analyse economic data and statistics to identify and develop growth opportunities.
