This is an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to step into a senior leadership role, providing technical direction and oversight across a diverse portfolio of roads, bridges, drainage and community infrastructure assets, while leading a team of six professionals. Your new role As Principal Coordinator - Infrastructure Design, you will lead the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects while providing specialist engineering advice across the organisation. Responsibilities include managing project scope, budgets and consultants, overseeing infrastructure design and asset management activities, supervising and mentoring staff, and contributing to strategic infrastructure planning and funding initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring infrastructure projects are delivered in line with legislative requirements, industry standards and organisational objectives, while fostering continuous improvement within the technical services function. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will possess: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.Demonstrated experience in infrastructure planning and design, project management, asset management and surveying.Proven leadership capability with experience supervising and developing technical teams.Strong knowledge of engineering design software, GIS, survey systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.A current Queensland C Class Manual Driver's Licence.White Card or Blue Card.RPEQ registration will be highly regarded.
