User Interface Engineer

UI Developer Location: Sydney Duration: 6 Months Banking experience is mandatory. About the Opportunity The UI Developer will be responsible for driving end to end delivery of the program, attend requirement discussions with business stakeholders to finalise the FSD’s/Interface documents etc. Work with Tech Lead/Business stakeholders for requirement gathering/reviews and signoff’sLiaise with the offshore team and SME’s during the project delivery phaseMeeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applicationsSupport and collaborate with other internal/external consultants in consulting, workshops and delivery engagements Required Skills and Experience Experience in Leading, guiding and coaching a small teamExpertise in design and development of UI applications.9+ years of experience in UI design and developmentExpertise in ReactJS. Redux experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks.Experience on creating Node JS API for front-end integration.Experience on creating API definition using Swagger. Experience on Node modules such as file systems, normalizer, etc. Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and experience with a modern client-side single page app framework in React JS. Good working knowledge of GIT version control and JavaScript package managers.Translates graphic visual and interactive designs into the presentation layer for highly interactive web and mobile applications using responsive design and development techniques.Develops prototypes and performs hands-on coding to develop and integrate the application user interfaceFull lifecycle application design and development using Javascript – React.js – Node.js – PythonProactively engage in the remediation of software issues related to code quality, security, and/or pattern/frameworks.Mentoring, guiding, and developing a team of developers with a focus on quality and best practice coding What’s on Offer A Sydney-based contract opportunity within a complex financial services environment.A hands-on role combining UI architecture, development, technical leadership, and mentoring.The opportunity to deliver modern digital interfaces using ReactJS, Node.js, JavaScript, and Python.Close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical specialists, consultants, and distributed delivery teams.
