QUALITY ENGINEER / SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN TEST RETAIL COMPANY ROLE IS HYBRID ONSITE - GREATER SEATTLE AREA, WA $56-$60, $9,856-$10,560/month COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience) PLEASE NOTE: This role is not open to Corp to Corp. THE CLIENT The client is a large retail company. QUALITY ENGINEER Test Cases written in the following languages: JavaScript, C# (.NET), Python, SpecFlow and RestClient. Candidates with strong experience in other languages and a good understanding of object-oriented concepts are also acceptable. Tools used: Postman – For API testing.Python. C# .NET frameworks, SpecFlow, and RestClient – For test automation.SQL Server – For database validation and queries ● Cosmos DB – For scalable, NoSQL database management.Azure DevOps (ADO) – For managing the project lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and test cases. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE QA Skills and Experience: 8+ years’ experience in backend testing using RestClient, C#, Python, SpecFlow, Postman, and JavaScript.Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.Expertise in functional, integration, load/stress, and regression testing.Strong collaboration with development teams to ensure seamless test automation integration into the CI/CD pipeline.Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman.Maintaining and enhancing C# testing frameworks.Skilled in working with YAML files to create and update test pipelines.Utilizing Azure services for debugging and monitoring.Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.Strong background in performance testing using JMeter and LoadRunner.Deep understanding of the Payment Domain.Proficiency in Azure or GCP cloud services. WORK ENVIRONMENT Duration: ASAP start, run through 8/29/2027, and chance to extend. Daily Schedule: M-F. 40 hours a week, no OT anticipated. Location: Hybrid, Issaquah, WA. Hardware: Client will provide all necessary hardware. Submittal/Onboarding requirements: Client requires a background check & drug screen before start.
