FPGA Developer - Aerospace

Responsibilities For one of our clients in the aerospace sector, we are currently looking for a candidate for the following exciting project: Design, develop, and implement FPGA solutions using VHDL for aerospace and defence applicationsPerform FPGA architecture design, simulation, verification, debugging, and testbench development to ensure reliable hardware performanceAnalyze system requirements and optimize timing closure, resource utilization, and FPGA performanceCollaborate closely with systems, hardware, software, and verification engineers throughout the development and integration lifecycleEnsure compliance with DO-254, RTCA, ESA, and other safety-critical aerospace standards, including technical documentation and hardware validation Your Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldProven experience in FPGA design, VHDL development, and digital hardware architectureStrong knowledge of FPGA simulation, verification, debugging, and testbench developmentExperience in aerospace, defence, or other safety-critical embedded hardware environments is highly desirableStrong communication skills, a proactive and collaborative mindset, and professional English proficiencyWillingness to work on-site is required What we offer Salary range: €75,000 - €90,000 gross per year (depending on qualifications and experience)Attractive working environment within a diverse, collaborative, and inclusive teamChallenging projects with a high level of responsibility and opportunities for professional growthSecure position in an innovative, high-tech aerospace and defence environmentFlexible working hours with no core working hours and 30 days of annual leaveComprehensive benefits package, including Hansefit membership and the BusinessBike leasing program About YER Germany Whether you're just starting out, a seasoned expert, or already leading teams - we're by your side throughout your entire career journey.
