Job Description As a Civil Engineer within our Urban Development team, you will focus on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for land development and civil infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for Deliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs within broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopmentDesign of major and minor drainage infrastructure with an understanding of hydrological principles with appropriate water management and treatmentsDeliver and manage water and sewer designs in accordance with MRWA standardsPrepare relevant servicing and development reportsWork closely with the other members of the Urban Development team and sub-consultantsFostering relationships with current and potential clients building on your existing networks to generate new business Qualifications Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a civil engineer within a consultancy environment with demonstrated knowledge of land development projects local to ACT. In addition, you will also have: Tertiary qualifications in Civil EngineeringValid full drivers licenseA thorough understanding of civil design principles pertaining to land development, storm water, sewer, hydraulics, flood modelling, civil infrastructure and roadsDesign of multi-disciplinary projects using 12D and AutocadAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and ability to run projects within budget and on timeStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisation and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements Additional Information Want to help build a more balanced, sustainable, and resilient world?
