Project/Platform Support 40% – Support Linux server strategy, deployment, and optimization.
Participate in infrastructure and business-driven technology project development and execution.
Develop and support operational best practices as they pertain to Linux environments
Operational Support 40% – Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve operation system, software and cloud issues as they pertain to Linux environments.
Support security audits and remediation efforts and maintain encryption standards, certificate lifecycles, and security controls.
Support patching and config management through Terraform, Ansible, or other related automation tools.
Problem Management and Continuous Improvement 20% – Respond to service interruptions and participate in root cause analysis activities.
Support problem management and reliability by identifying trends, recurring issues, and developing solutions.
Focus on technical automation to improve efficiency and reliability of Linux environments.
What You'll Bring
Strong experience in RedHat Linux2+ years experience in cloud-based Linux deployment, preferably AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Working knowledge of technologies such as Terraform, Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, OpenSSL, AWS, and GCPAbility to interpret and apply security requirements to infrastructure and platform solutions.Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to automation, operational efficiency, and reduction of technical debtAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work independentlyParticipation in After-Hours On-Call rotation for systems support
