About usSandbar Health is building an AI-native payvider reimagining health benefits in the D.C. metro area. We are building a health plan centered around concierge primary care clinics. Our mission is to provide a radically better healthcare experience built for the modern age, while improving health outcomes for patients, and reducing healthcare costs for employers. We are backed and incubated by Route 66 Ventures, a local VC fund inside of a family office. We have a long-term-oriented, patient capital structure, prepared to fund a multi-decade journey to improve healthcare in the DMV. Position SummaryWe're looking for a senior full-stack engineer to help build the software behind Sandbar's health plan — across our broker platform, our member app, and the internal tooling we use to ship AI features. Your work will make an impact by designing systems that improve healthcare for patients and create better health benefit solutions for employers. We're a small team, so whoever takes this on owns real features end to end. We'd love to talk to strong full-stack engineers already based in the DMV.
