Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Architect – DevOps & Observability to define and drive enterprise-wide DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, CI/CD, Cloud, and Observability standards.
The ideal candidate will combine strong enterprise architecture and hands-on technical experience with expertise in technology evaluation, DevSecOps, cloud-native engineering, observability, and enterprise transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Define enterprise DevOps and DevSecOps Gold Standards, reference architectures, Golden Paths, and reusable engineering patterns.Establish standards for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, GitOps, containerization, automated testing, and security integration.Lead evaluation and Proofs of Value (POVs) for DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and Observability technologies.Define and implement enterprise Observability standards across applications, cloud, Kubernetes, databases, and APIs.Establish standards for metrics, logs, traces, monitoring, dashboards, alerting, SLIs/SLOs, and AIOps integration.Lead implementation and adoption of DevSecOps and Observability standards across application teams.Develop reusable CI/CD pipelines, Terraform/IaC modules, security integrations, dashboards, and onboarding frameworks.Assess technology gaps, develop implementation roadmaps, and drive enterprise adoption.Maintain enterprise reference architectures, technology standards, Golden Paths, and engineering best practices.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, and DevSecOpsHands-on experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CloudStrong knowledge of Observability, APM, monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracingExperience with SAST, DAST, SCA, container security, secrets management, and policy enforcementExperience with Terraform or similar IaC technologiesExperience evaluating technologies and leading POCs/POVsExperience developing enterprise reference architectures and technology standardsStrong understanding of cloud-native, microservices, APIs, serverless, and legacy applicationsAbility to work with engineering teams and drive enterprise-wide technology adoption
