About The Role Peraton is seeking to hire a Cyber Systems Developer for its Regional Cyber Center-Europe program. Location: On-site, Wiesbaden, Germany Potentially 2nd/3rd Shift work Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain cyber defense tools, automation scripts, and utilities that enhance CSSP detection, response, and operational efficiency across the RCC-E environmentAutomate security workflows and repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ansible) to reduce analyst workload and improve response timesManage and maintain containerized applications and micro-services using Podman and Kubernetes, supporting the deployment and lifecycle management of CSSP mission toolsAdminister and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment of cyber defense software in a secure, classified environmentConduct capacity and performance analysis of CSSP infrastructure components, identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements to sustain operational SLAsSupport CSSP infrastructure operations including configuration management, system hardening, and integration of new tools into the existing cyber defense architecture #RCC-E Qualifications Required: 5 years of systems development or DevSecOps experience with a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or Business Administration; 11 years of relevent experience may substitute for degreeMust meet TESA Qualifications DoD 8140 - IT (System Administrator) - IntermediateCertifications - must hold active certifications (one of the following):CompTIA Linux+; ORRed Hat RHCSA; ORRed Hat RHCE; ORRed Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes; ORMicrosoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate; ORGitLab Certified CI/CD Associate; ORAzure DevOps Engineer ExpertU.S. citizenship requiredActive DoD TS/SCI clearance Preferred: Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for security automation and tool developmentExperience with Ansible or SaltStack for configuration management and infrastructure-as-codeHands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD for pipeline development in classified environmentsWorking knowledge of Kubernetes and Podman for container orchestration and managementStrong Linux systems administration skills (RHEL/CentOS) in enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with Azure DevOps for project management and pipeline integrationExperience with SaltStack or Puppet for large-scale configuration managementUnderstanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) Details Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
