Built by industry experts with backgrounds in programmatic advertising, digital media, and ad verification, the platform supports advertisers in driving measurable business outcomes through CTV performance marketing. 2. About the Opportunity: The Sr. Backend Engineer will design, build, and scale the organization’s contract and billing systems that support advertisers, internal teams, and Finance. This role is central to maintaining accurate and flexible backend services for various contract structures and billing models. The engineer will ensure system correctness, auditability, and reliability while working at the intersection of revenue, finance, and customer operations. This position contributes to scalable and maintainable contract logic critical to the organization’s commercial relationships and growth. 3. Responsibilities: Design and implement backend systems for contract lifecycle management including creation, versioning, approvals, amendments, and renewalsDevelop and enhance contract management features for CPA and CPM billing modelsBuild APIs and services for customers, operations, and finance stakeholdersCollaborate with Product, Finance, and Data teams to translate business needs into technical solutionsEnsure systems maintain auditability, accuracy, compliance, and data integrityImprove observability, reliability, and performance as system complexity growsOwn backend services and data models related to contracts and billingLead technical design discussions and make architectural decisionsWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable code focused on correctnessEnhance data consistency, validation, and error handling in contract workflowsReview code and mentor engineers to uphold backend quality standardsSupport new deal structures and evolving business models through cross-functional collaboration 4. Requirements: Experience with billing and contract mechanisms, specifically affiliate platformsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experienceExperience building large-scale full-stack productsDeep understanding of web development and React/Redux best practicesProficient in JavaScript and Python or JavaStrong software engineering principles and collaboration skillsExperience using AI tools to improve workflow quality and speed with critical evaluation and verification skillsHigh integrity in data protection and accountability for final deliverablesNice-to-Haves: Experience working with finance or accounting teams; experience building audit-friendly or compliance-sensitive systems 5.
