Description
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and scale customer-facing technology platforms in a full-time, onsite role based in Boston, MA or Seattle, WA.
The ideal candidate has 12+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience, strong engineering fundamentals, a product mindset, and the ability to solve complex technical problems independently in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.
You will develop and maintain scalable applications across frontend UI, backend services, APIs, and databases using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Python, Java, and Node.js.
Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, gRPC/Thrift integrations, microservices, and distributed systems; participating in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews; and driving best practices for automated testing, security, observability, and CI/CD.
You will troubleshoot complex production issues, contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment automation, and collaborate with product managers, architects, and designers.
Experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch is required, along with Docker, Terraform, and testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
Candidates should have experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis, as well as system design and distributed systems.
Nice-to-have experience includes Elasticsearch, Thrift, monorepos, Bazel, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Kafka, EventBridge, and SaaS, marketplace, or real estate technology.
