The Senior Portfolio Development Manager, Soy is a recognized strategic leader accountable for shaping and integrating the global crop protection portfolio strategy for assigned soy, corn, and cotton products across Drive Countries. This role leads complex, high-impact development, positioning, registration, launch, licensing, and life-cycle initiatives, translating long-term Crop System priorities into aligned cross-functional plans. As a Senior Portfolio Development Manager, Soy CS you create chemistry by... Shaping and integrating the long-term global portfolio strategy for assigned Soy Crop System products across Drive Countries, translating crop-system priorities into differentiated positioning and go-to-market direction. Leading complex end-to-end product development and launch programs, establishing cross-functional plans covering target product profile, claims, dossier, pricing logic, and post-launch optimization. Influencing major portfolio and business decisions by integrating market potential, competitive differentiation, regulatory feasibility, and P&L implications into senior recommendations. Leading global life-cycle and portfolio-risk strategy for assigned products, setting direction for re-registration, label extensions, and active-ingredient defense. Serving as a recognized portfolio authority and senior cross-functional leader, leading planning teams and representing assigned products in senior governance. Acting as a role model, coach, and capability builder across the organization, mentoring Portfolio Development Managers and cross-functional colleagues. If you... Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred. Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in crop protection, strategic marketing, product management, product development, or a related agricultural business function. Have specific experience in soy, corn, and cotton crop geographies, preferred. Have demonstrated leadership of large-scale, multi-region portfolio, development, launch, or life-cycle initiatives. Have demonstrated ability to influence broad organizational decisions and secure senior cross-functional alignment without direct authority. Possess mastery of product development, global positioning, claims, launch governance, registration, and life-cycle management. Have advanced business and financial acumen, including portfolio scenarios, investment trade-offs, and P&L implications. Demonstrate executive communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and planning-team leadership.
