The Opportunity Amentum is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Engineering Project Manager to join the PPP Team in Birchwood. As an Engineering Project Manager some of your responsibilities will include: Act as the senior point of contact for all Engineering related matters for a major project within the PPP framework including but not limited to; Overall Engineering strategy and Engineering execution, Engineering risk management, Engineering schedule delivery and Engineering cost delivery. Act as the senior engineering point of contact for Management Board Project Status reviewsAct as the senior point of contact for Internal Amentum monthly project reviews Responsible for creating and leading a multi-disciplinary team across all major disciplines such CSA, Mechanical, CE&I safety etc. which could be up to circa 80 people. Working alongside key stakeholders including intelligent client to ensure engineering strategies and engineering execution are robust are underpinned Instigation of Learning from Experience/continuous improvement activities As an Engineering Project Manager, you will need to demonstrate the following: Proven experience of leading major engineering delivery on EPC projects Proven experience acting as the Principal Designer under CDM regulations.
