Skool’s engineering team is seeking highly experienced Backend Software Engineers with a passion for developing performant and scalable backend services written in Go.
You will collaborate with Product Management, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to determine the best way to design and implement new systems.
You will also help to maintain and extend existing services.
Skool engineers love to solve hard software problems.
Teams are focused on a variety of challenges like helping users find the best communities, creating new engagement loops within the platform and managing a robust payment system used by tens of millions.
We have multiple roles available across our Go based software stack, and are looking for engineers who can aid in our goal of helping 1 billion people find community.
This is a 100% remote position.
Skool has an office in Los Angeles, CA but works as a distributed team.
What you'll do
Solve technical problems of high scope and complexityTake full ownership designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Skool backend features, end-to-endBuild and maintain internal tools and infrastructureCommunicate and author architectural designs and requirementsMaintain and advocate for high standards through code review and collaboration between yourself and other engineers
