Description
Spotware Systems is looking for a Fullstack Developer (PHP + React) to modernize the backend of a payment cashier and build the frontends of a consumer trading client area and broker back-office products — working on a strict design system with AI-assisted development.
Responsibilities
Reengineer the existing PHP backend of the payment cashier into a market-ready product — refactoring and extending it, not rewriting from scratch.
Build and maintain the React frontends of the products — a consumer trading client area and broker-facing back-office tools.
Assemble screens from a shared component library, and grow that library together with the product designer.
Work from the analyst’s specifications and agree API contracts with the backend developers.
Estimate work, plan it with the team, and deliver against the agreed plans.
Hold release quality together with QA.
Use AI-assisted development as the default way of working on both the PHP and React sides.
Maintain the current versions of the products until the new ones fully replace them.
Requirements
5+ years of production development with strong PHP — comfortable working inside an existing codebase, modernizing it, and bringing it to product quality.
Solid React (TypeScript welcome) — consumer web apps and data-heavy admin interfaces built from a component library.
API and integration literacy — REST APIs, webhooks, and event flows; exposure to payment integrations is a strong plus.
Design-system discipline — works within a strict component system and extends it deliberately, instead of producing one-off screens.
AI-native development — uses AI coding tools as the default way of producing and reviewing code, with the judgment to know their limits.
Domain exposure to fintech, payments, trading, or brokerage is a plus.
Soft skills: self-sufficient and reliable owner of their area; prioritizes well, communicates trade-offs early, and escalates before deadlines slip.
