You’ll work alongside recognised technical specialists on challenging infrastructure and development projects, combining field investigation, geological interpretation and engineering design to deliver practical solutions in the UK and internationally.
Purpose & Scope of the Role
As an Engineering Geologist, you’ll contribute to feasibility, assessment and design across engineering geology, geotechnical, hydrogeological and geo-environmental projects.
Your work will span roads, rail, buildings and land development, with exposure to GIS terrain evaluation, geohazard and slope stability assessment, rock excavation, retaining structures, foundations and ground improvement.
Your Impact in this position
From the outset, you’ll have opportunities to take practical responsibility for both site and office-based work.
Working within multidisciplinary ground engineering teams, you’ll plan and undertake investigations, interpret geological and geotechnical information, prepare technical reports and contribute to detailed design.
You’ll also engage with clients and support construction supervision, developing broad technical and commercial experience while learning from leading specialists in the industry.

Working Environment
This is a varied role combining office-based engineering, site investigation and construction supervision.
Projects may be located across the UK and overseas, so flexibility to travel and work on site is important.
