Description

We are looking for a Java Spring Boot Developer with strong Relational Database (SQL) experience to join our backend engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs, core microservices, and database interactions for enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Microservices Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Database & SQL Engineering: Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas for relational databases.Core Backend Development: Write efficient, maintainable backend code using Java and Spring Boot, while supporting legacy Java / J2EE architectures where required.API Integration: Develop robust REST APIs and integrate third-party applications, ORM frameworks (Hibernate/Spring Data JPA), and data pipelines.Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, unit-tested code (JUnit/Mockito) and participate in peer code reviews to maintain high technical standards.Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot database bottlenecks, index management, and API latency to ensure high availability and responsiveness.Key Qualifications Technical Requirements: Java & Spring Boot: Proven hands-on experience building enterprise backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.Database & SQL Skills: Solid proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server) with advanced SQL query writing and performance tuning experience.ORM & Data Access: Hands-on experience with Spring Data JPA or Hibernate.API Design: Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and JSON/XML handling.Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git and standard CI/CD deployment pipelines.
