Description JOB DESCRIPTION Developer, Gatekeeper App The Developer, Gatekeeper App will design, build, and maintain a secure internal application that supports authentication, access control, and operational workflows for Gatekeeper use cases. This role is responsible for delivering a reliable, maintainable, and user-friendly experience that integrates with MCP, access-control systems, OAuth-based authentication, and related APIs. Key Responsibilities Design and build the Gatekeeper app using modern frontend development practicesImplement interactive user flows for setup, configuration, validation, and status reportingIntegrate with MCP tools, access-control systems, and OAuth-based authentication flowsDevelop secure API integrations with internal and external systemsManage environment variables, secrets, and configuration in a secure and maintainable wayAdd input validation, error handling, logging, and troubleshooting supportPartner with stakeholders to refine requirements and improve workflow usabilityEnsure the application follows established security, reliability, and internal application standardsDocument behavior, setup steps, and operational considerations for maintainability Core Technical Skills ReactJavaScript or TypeScriptMCP integration basicsOAuth and access-control conceptsREST API integrationSecrets and configuration managementDebugging and observabilitySecurity fundamentalsUX for setup and operational workflows Success Measures The app is secure, stable, and maintainableAuthentication and access control work end to endSetup and configuration flows are clear and supportableAPI integrations are reliable and well documentedIssues can be diagnosed and resolved efficiently Working Style Collaborates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersCommunicates clearly and documents decisions and implementation detailsTakes ownership of quality, security, and operational readinessBalances speed of delivery with maintainability and supportability Requirements Required Qualifications 3+ years of software development experience, or equivalent practical experienceStrong experience with ReactStrong experience with JavaScript or TypeScriptExperience building and maintaining web applications or internal toolsExperience integrating with REST APIs and JSON-based servicesFamiliarity with OAuth, authentication, and authorization conceptsFamiliarity with secure configuration and secrets handlingUnderstanding of debugging, logging, and production support practicesWorking knowledge of security best practices, including least privilege and input validation Preferred Qualifications Experience building internal enterprise applications or workflow toolsFamiliarity with access-control platforms or Zero Trust conceptsExperience with MCP or similar tool-orchestration patternsExperience designing admin, setup, or configuration interfacesExperience supporting secure applications in an operational environment
