Primary Talent Partners has a 12 month contract opening for a Software Engineer III to join a national energy & utilities company for a hybrid position operating out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay: $63.00/hr - $73.00/hr
Contract: 12 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, reusable applications using Java, PostgreSQL and cloud technologies.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and release, through Agile sprint execution.Develop low-latency, high performance and highly available applications to support business functions.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems; optimize application performance and scalability.Work with product owner, operations, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.Qualifications & Skills
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.7+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise-applications and technology solutions is highly desired.Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS or similar cloud platforms.Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and ORM tools like Hibernate.Experience with designing RESTful APIs, API architectures and API management platforms.Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server, and familiarity with NoSQL solutions.Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, containerization, and Git version control.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on schedule in an Agile environment.Strong problem-solving mindset with an ownership mentality; excellent verbal and written communication skills.Primary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
