Overview and Responsibilities In this role, you’ll help build the backbone of a platform that supports real behavioral health care. You’ll work hands-on across .NET and Azure backend services, designing APIs, powering event-driven workflows, and moving critical data securely between systems. Our Azure-based .NET microservices support patient data, clinical documentation, scheduling, and integrations with external health systems. Note: You must reside in WI, MN or CO for this role. You’ll be successful in this role and help grow the company by: Build and maintain ASP.NET Core APIs that serve our web application and internal servicesDesign and operate Azure Service Bus consumers and publishers — the backbone of how our services talk to each otherBuild and support Azure Data Factory pipelines that migrate tenant data in and out of the platformWrite data access against multi-tenant PostgreSQL, with careful attention to tenant isolationIntegrate with third-party healthcare systems over FHIR and RESTHandle protected health information (PHI) responsibly — HIPAA compliance is a real constraint on how we design, log, and storeWrite tests. Our services carry unit, integration, and API-level test suites, and we expect new work to come with themSupport your services in production: observability, alerting, and being on the hook when something breaksOther duties as assigned Qualifications Required 3+ years building backend services in C# / .NET (we run .NET 8, with newer services on .NET 10)3+ years in healthcareStrong ASP.NET Core Web API experience — REST design, authentication, middleware, dependency injectionHands-on Azure Service Bus: queues and topics, subscriptions, message handlers, retries, dead-letter handlingAzure Data Factory: building and troubleshooting pipelines, copy activities, and data movement between systemsSolid SQL and relational database skillsComfortable with Azure day to day — Key Vault, App Configuration, Blob Storage, managed identity, Application InsightsGit, CI/CD, and shipping through automated pipelinesExcellent communication skills; demonstrated ability to be able to deliver messaging clearly as well as hear and act on feedback through active listening skillsAbility to travel up to 5% of working time, may include overnight/weekend travelAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorshipMust reside in one of the following states: WI, MN, CO Nice to have Clean Architecture and CQRS (we use MediatR across most services)Dapper, or a preference for explicit SQL over heavy ORMsPostgreSQL specifically, and multi-tenant data designDocker, Kubernetes (AKS), HelmAzure DevOps pipelinesRedis caching, SignalRHealthcare experience — FHIR, HL7, HIPAA, or any EHR/clinical systemAuth0 or another OIDC identity provider How we work Small team, direct ownership — you'll ship to production regularlyCode review on everythingEstablished patterns and shared libraries, so you're not reinventing plumbingClear architectural documentation in each rep Benefits ProsperityEHR provides health insurance, life insurance, and voluntary participation in a 401k.
