Description

Established in 2007, Rezgo is an industry-leading SaaS company delivering booking and reservation software for travel and tour operators around the world. We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our growing team. While our headquarters are located in North Vancouver, this is a remote, work-from-home position, and we would prefer to find a candidate located in British Columbia or within the Pacific Time Zone. Rezgo is a family-like company with a small, collaborative team supporting customers around the world. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, organized, and enjoys finding and solving problems. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while also communicating and collaborating closely with our development and product teams. As a Software QA Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring new features, updates, and fixes work as expected before they are released to our customers. Responsibilities would include: Test new features, updates, and bug fixes across the Rezgo platform;Perform manual testing of our web-based software across different browsers and devices;Identify, investigate, reproduce, and document software bugs and unexpected behaviour;Create clear and detailed bug reports, including steps to reproduce issues;Work closely with developers and the product team to communicate issues and verify fixes;Perform regression testing to ensure updates do not negatively affect existing functionality;Test customer workflows and different use cases to identify potential issues before release;Review requirements and new features to identify potential problems or missing scenarios;Work with other members of the QA team to communicate issues or specificationsHelp develop and maintain test cases, testing procedures, and QA documentation;Assist with testing releases before they are deployed to production;Continue to learn and understand the Rezgo platform and how our customers use it;Other duties as required. Required skills and experience: Previous experience with software testing, quality assurance, or a similar technical role;Strong attention to detail;Comfortable working with technology and web-based software;Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;Ability to clearly identify, reproduce, and document technical issues;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product team members, and other departments;Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment;Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Extra skills that would be a bonus, but are not required: Previous experience testing SaaS or web-based applications;Experience with QA or bug-tracking tools;Experience creating and maintaining test cases;Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, APIs, databases, or browser developer tools;Experience with automated software testing;Experience working in an Agile software development environment;Previous experience working with reservation, booking, tourism, or travel software. What we offer: Salary: $70,000–$75,000 CAD per year, based on experience;3 weeks vacation + 10 sick days;Medical and dental benefits after 3 months;Work-from-home position;Flexible and casual work environment.
