Assistant Site Engineer

Your responsibilities will include: Setting out and surveying across groundworks and civil engineering activitiesProviding technical support to the Site Management teamChecking drawings, specifications and site measurementsEnsuring works are constructed in accordance with design and specificationCompleting quality assurance and site documentationMonitoring levels, coordinates and tolerancesLiaising with subcontractors and site teamsAssisting with resolving technical issues on siteMaintaining accurate site records and reporting progress Requirements The successful candidate will have: Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 2 years' experience working on groundworks and highways projectsStrong setting-out and surveying experienceGood understanding of construction drawings and specificationsExperience working on highway construction projectsExcellent attention to detail and technical abilityAbility to work effectively alongside Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractorsRelevant site-based experience within the UK .
