About The Position We are looking for a DevOps engineer to help build, automate, and support the infrastructure and CI/CD systems our engineering and mission teams rely on. Most of our environment is on-prem, with some AWS, so you will work hands-on with servers, pipelines, and the tools that tie them together. Responsibilities Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, artifacts, and deploymentsAutomate server provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools so environments are consistent and repeatableAdminister and troubleshoot Linux systems, including services, permissions, storage, and performance issuesDeploy and support containerized applications, including testing changes and rolling back when neededSet up monitoring and alerting, investigate failures, and fix recurring problems at the root causeCheck backups and test restores for the systems you supportHandle secrets, service accounts, and access in line with security requirementsDocument your work so other team members can support and maintain itWork with developers, IT, and security on network, access, and infrastructure needsTake part in incident response and follow up on fixes Requirements 3+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering, or equivalent hands-on experienceStrong Linux administration skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems independentlyExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)Comfortable with Git workflows, including branching, merge requests, tagging, and releasesScripting in Python and/or Bash to automate tasks, with good logging and error handlingHands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other configuration management toolsExperience building, running, and troubleshooting Docker containers and registriesSolid networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and TLSExperience using logs and metrics to track down and resolve issuesWorks well independently, communicates clearly, and keeps others updated on progress Preferred Requirements On-prem infrastructure experience with physical servers and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox)HPC clusters, job schedulers, or compute-heavy workloadsAdministering self-hosted GitLab and runnersAWS experience (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3), including GovCloudMonitoring and secrets tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, HashiCorp Vault, or OpenBaoBackground in aerospace, test labs, or other regulated engineering environments US EEO Statement Intuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity employer.
