V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer III for our premier client Cincinnati, OH.
Education And Experience»
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of professional software development experience using Java.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities »
Hands-on experience developing microservices using Spring Boot.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
Strong experience with Java 8/11/17 and object-oriented design principles.
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as:
EC2ECS/EKSIAMVPCLambdaS3RDSCloudWatch
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud security principles.
AWS Certification (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, or equivalent) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologiesExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
