Role
FIOR is looking for a Software Delivery Manager to coordinate the day-to-day delivery of software across requirements, development, testing and release.
You will turn business priorities into clear work for engineering, maintain the delivery backlog, coordinate workloads and dependencies, support release planning, and keep stakeholders clear on progress, risks and decisions.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving product company, working directly with the CEO, CTO, Field CTO, engineering and operations.
What you will do
- Turn business requirements into clear features, tasks and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain the delivery backlog across product work, defects, support cases and technical improvements.
- Coordinate priorities, developer workload, dependencies and delivery dates.
- Track work through development, testing and release.
- Identify blockers, delivery risks and conflicting priorities early.
- Coordinate testing, business acceptance and release readiness.
- Produce clear release notes and concise delivery updates.
- Keep delivery records, decisions and requirements current.
- Help improve delivery practices where delays, rework or ambiguity appear.
What we need
- Around 2-4 years' experience in software delivery, project delivery, development coordination or a similar role.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience turning business requirements into clear development work.
- Experience managing backlogs, priorities, defects and delivery plans.
- Familiarity with Jira, GitHub Projects, Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong written communication, organisation and stakeholder management.
- Enough technical understanding to work confidently with developers on dependencies, estimates and delivery risks.
Experience with SaaS, APIs, cloud, CI/CD, AI or security products would be useful, but is not essential.
