Your Mission We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Engineer (CI/CD & Agent Core Deployment) to design, build, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for AI agents running on AWS. The engineer will own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, from source code commits and container builds to Amazon ECR, CI/CD pipelines, environment promotion, and Amazon Bedrock Agent Core Runtime configuration. The role focuses on establishing secure, reliable, repeatable, and scalable deployment practices that enable engineering teams to deploy and operate AI agents across development, testing, staging, and production environments. What You Ll Do CI/CD Pipeline Engineering Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI agents and supporting services.Automate code validation, testing, container builds, security scanning, and deployments.Implement deployment approvals, rollback mechanisms, and release controls.Integrate pipelines with GitHub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, or equivalent tools. Containerization & Amazon ECR Build and optimize Docker container images for AI agent applications.Manage Amazon ECR repositories, image versioning, tagging, vulnerability scanning, and lifecycle policies.Establish secure container build and artifact management practices. AWS Agent Core Runtime Deployment Automate deployment of AI agents to Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime.Configure runtime environments, session management, execution settings, and environment variables.Manage IAM execution roles, permissions, and secure access to dependent AWS services.Support runtime deployment troubleshooting and configuration optimization. Environment Management & Release Automation Establish standardized deployment processes across development, testing, staging, and production.Implement environment-specific configuration, secrets management, and deployment promotion.Support automated validation, controlled releases, rollback, and recovery.Maintain deployment traceability and auditability. Infrastructure as Code & Platform Integration Develop reusable infrastructure and deployment modules using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.Integrate CI/CD pipelines with AWS networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring services.Collaborate with Cloud Platform Engineers and Agent Core Platform Engineers to standardize infrastructure and deployment patterns. Security, Monitoring & Operational Reliability Integrate security scanning, dependency checks, and vulnerability management into CI/CD pipelines.Implement least-privilege IAM access and secure credential management.Configure deployment monitoring, logging, and alerts using Amazon CloudWatch and related tools. What You Bring 7+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, AWS Cloud Engineering, CI/CD, or Platform Engineering.Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Amazon ECR, IAM, CloudWatch, and Amazon Bedrock Agent Core Runtime.Expertise in Docker, container image management, and automated deployment pipelines.Experience with GitHub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Build, or Jenkins.Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting languages.Understanding of Agent Core Runtime deployment, versioning, session lifecycle, and environment configuration.Experience implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, environment promotion, and rollback strategies.Strong troubleshooting skills across container builds, deployment pipelines, and AWS runtime environments. Nice To Have Skills Experience deploying AI/GenAI applications, LLM-based services, or autonomous AI agents.Familiarity with Strands Agents, Lang Chain, or other agent frameworks.Experience with GitOps, Argo CD, or enterprise release management.Knowledge of AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, VPC networking, and AWS Organizations.Experience with OpenTelemetry, Langfuse, or distributed tracing.Familiarity with DevSecOps, software supply chain security, and artifact signing. Expected Deliverables Automated CI/CD pipelines covering source commits, container builds, ECR publishing, testing, and AgentCore deployment.Reusable deployment templates and infrastructure-as-code modules.Standardized multi-environment promotion, approval, and rollback processes.Secure AgentCore Runtime configurations, including IAM permissions and session lifecycle settings.Deployment monitoring, operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
