Senior Quality Engineer

Owen Daniels working with a leading aerospace manufacturer that is looking to strengthen its Quality team with an experienced Senior Quality Engineer. This is a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer who enjoys working in a technically demanding manufacturing environment and wants to be involved in projects where quality, traceability and attention to detail really matter. You’ll work closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers and suppliers, taking ownership of quality issues and driving them through to robust corrective and preventative actions. The role will cover a broad range of quality engineering activities, including NPI, APQP, PPAP, 8D, root cause analysis, FMEA, control plans and continuous improvement. You’ll be involved in investigating non conformances, supporting customer requirements, improving manufacturing processes and ensuring products consistently meet the required specification and quality standards. We’re looking for someone with experience within aerospace or a similarly highly regulated manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems and structured problem solving. Experience with AS9100, customer quality requirements, NCRs, CAPA, FMEA, 8D and root cause analysis would be highly advantageous. More importantly, we’re looking for someone who is technically strong, comfortable working with engineering and production teams and confident taking ownership when a quality issue needs resolving. This is a hands on Quality Engineering position with plenty of scope to get involved, make improvements and have a real impact on the operation.
