As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and optimization of components across our gas power portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to deliver high-quality solutions, drive product upgrades, and ensure our designs meet rigorous performance and safety standards. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Responsibility for a given structural gas turbine component in mechanical terms, mechanical design, model and drawing definitions, production of parts, solving problems of new units, adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.Participation in the continuous improvement of design structural parts as well as the design process.Leveraging knowledge of technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to recommend and execute, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and NPIs programs requirementsEnsuring proper documentation of technical data generated to substantiate analyzed components, assemblies and/or systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures.Participation as a presenter in technical program reviews.Implementing plans to achieve technical requirements, prepare schedules, coordinate teams providing sub-analyses.Planning the scope of activities in the assigned area, monitoring and effectively communicating projects status, issues and significant developments.Using multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.Understanding the impact of the work performed on the company's goals. Required Qualifications This role requires min 3 Y experience in the Engineering/Technology & GT Mechanical ComponentProven technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyMSc in EngineeringExperience with commercial CAD/CAE package required (ANSYS, NX)General knowledge of the GT engine architecture is requiredMust be independent engineer that executes with minimum guidanceFluent level of written and spoken English language Desired Characteristics Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsStrong technical attitude, including applicable engineering tools and systemDemonstrated decision making abilityDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsAn attitude that builds the team's image, promoting its technical capabilities Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
