Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid) 12 + Months Must be open to face to face interview About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support enterprise cloud solutions on AWS. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing cloud infrastructure, implementing DevOps practices, optimizing cloud operations, and supporting secure, scalable applications in AWS environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on AWS experience, infrastructure automation expertise, and a passion for building reliable cloud platforms that enable business growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities • Build, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support enterprise applications and workloads. • Design and implement scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services. • Configure and maintain core AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and monitoring components. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation tools. • Manage and maintain AWS Secrets Manager for secure credentials and secrets management. • Configure AWS CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and monitoring solutions to ensure operational visibility and compliance. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployments and infrastructure provisioning. • Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture, proactively identifying and resolving issues. • Support cloud operations, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production environments. • Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver reliable cloud-based solutions. • Optimize cloud resource utilization and AWS costs through continuous performance tuning and capacity management. • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and architecture diagrams. • Participate in cloud modernization initiatives and drive automation opportunities across environments. • Mentor junior engineers and promote AWS and DevOps best practices across teams. Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or AWS Administration. • Strong hands-on experience managing AWS environments in enterprise settings. • Experience implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. • Working knowledge of cloud security best practices and governance controls. • Experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments. • Experience supporting production environments and participating in incident response activities. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
