Compensation & Location Location: Raymond, OH (4 days per week on-site) Pay Range: $55.00 – $62.00 per hour (based on experience, geographic region, and internal equity) Schedule: Full-time, contract; long-term opportunity Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 401k, Continuing and on-demand education 📍 Must be willing to work in Raymond, OH ✅ Sponsorship is available for this role ‼️ ONLY W2 – NO CORP to CORP – NO 3rd Parties Position Summary We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud / SDV Solutions Architect to support cloud architecture, deployment, and ongoing technical enablement for Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) and engineering applications within a large enterprise environment. This role will design and support AWS-hosted environments, review application and deployment architectures, administer Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms, and provide technical leadership for engineering applications throughout the solution lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong AWS cloud architecture experience, hands-on container platform knowledge, and experience working across engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, vendor, and governance teams to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, and support AWS-hosted environments and applications supporting SDV and engineering initiatives • Provision, configure, and maintain AWS compute, networking, storage, security, and container resources • Administer Kubernetes and OpenShift environments, including worker nodes and supporting cloud infrastructure • Monitor cloud environment health and troubleshoot performance, availability, security, and infrastructure issues • Identify opportunities for cloud performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization • Review application architectures, code, and deployment designs for scalability, security, reliability, and supportability • Create architecture documentation, deployment diagrams, technical assessments, and Architecture Review materials • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, governance, and vendor teams to validate solution designs and obtain approvals • Identify technical risks and recommend architectural improvements • Support onboarding, deployment, and operation of Software Defined Vehicle development and validation platforms • Evaluate new SDV technologies and support technical feasibility assessments and deployment planning • Promote DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native engineering practices • Provide architecture and technical consultation for IBM ELM and other engineering application platforms • Support application onboarding, upgrades, integrations, and operational readiness • Evaluate vendor solutions and recommend appropriate deployment, architecture, and support approaches • Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap for engineering and SDV platforms What You'll Be Working On • Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) applications and platforms • AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure • Engineering application environments • Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms • Application architecture reviews • Cloud deployment and operational support • IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) • DevOps and CI/CD enablement • Cloud-native automation • Engineering application onboarding and integrations • Architecture governance and technical documentation • SDV development and validation environments Required Skills & Experience • Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting solutions within AWS • Hands-on experience provisioning and managing AWS compute, networking, storage, and security services • Experience administering Kubernetes and/or OpenShift environments • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, reliability, availability, and security principles • Experience reviewing application architectures and deployment designs • Experience creating architecture diagrams, technical assessments, and solution documentation • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native development practices • Experience supporting enterprise application deployments, integrations, upgrades, and operational readiness • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills • Experience working across engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, governance, and vendor teams • Ability to identify technical risks and recommend architectural improvements • Experience supporting complex enterprise engineering or development platforms Desired Skills • Experience supporting Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms or automotive engineering environments • Experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) • Automotive industry experience • Experience evaluating emerging technologies and vendor solutions • Experience with cloud cost optimization and operational governance
