We are looking for a Robotics Manufacturing Process Engineer 3
The Technical Process Engineer provides technical leadership for robotic programming and process development supporting the manufacture of Equiaxed and Directionally Solidified investment castings.
This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing robotic programs for shell and ACME robotic grinding operations, ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements, supporting new product introduction, and driving continuous process improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
Own and support Shell and ACME robotic grinding programming processes.Develop, validate, and maintain robotic programs and process parameters.Lead troubleshooting activities and root cause investigations.Optimize robotic grinding methods, tooling strategies, and cycle times.Support capital equipment installations, commissioning, and production implementation.Develop technical requirements and specifications for automation equipment.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and process readiness.Create and maintain process documentation, standards, and training materials.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to manufacturing teams.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.Experience in investment casting manufacturing.ABB robotic programming using RAPID.Robotic grinding and automated finishing operations.Investment casting manufacturing environments.Process development, process control, and automation.Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.Capital equipment and automation project leadership.PLCs and ladder logic.Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.Engineering drawing interpretation and technical documentation.Siemens NX (preferred).This position requires a rare combination of:
