Description

Paragon just placed a highly regarded systematic equity Portfolio Manager with a leading global multi-manager investment platform. The PM is now looking to hire a Senior Quantitative Developer to build the team’s trading and research infrastructure from the ground up. This is a rare greenfield opportunity to join at an early stage, take genuine ownership of the technology stack and work directly with an experienced PM. The successful candidate will design and build robust, scalable infrastructure across the full investment lifecycle, including: Research and data pipelinesPortfolio construction and optimisation toolsExecution and trading systemsWorkflow orchestration and automationMonitoring, reporting and production support The core technology stack includes Python, SQL, AWS, Airflow and Pandas. We are looking for an experienced quantitative developer with a strong background in systematic equities, electronic trading or a closely related environment. You should combine excellent software-engineering fundamentals with a practical understanding of quantitative investment workflows and be comfortable operating with significant autonomy. This is an opportunity to become a foundational member of a newly established team, shape its technical architecture and build institutional-quality infrastructure without the constraints of a legacy platform.
