The Opportunity Asseta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to report to our Lead Software Engineer and Chief Technology Officer. You'll design and build the features at the heart of the Intelligent Family Office Suite™, owning meaningful product areas end-to-end. Working closely with product and implementation teams, you'll ship production software that directly shapes how clients manage their accounting and investment operations. As a Senior Software Engineer, You Will Design, build, and ship features across the platform, from backend services to polished user-facing experiencesOwn significant product areas end-to-end, scoping, implementation, testing, and deliveryBuild and maintain integrations with banking and third-party systemsWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate actively in code reviewCollaborate with product and implementation teams to turn family office workflows into reliable softwareContribute to architecture decisions and help continuously improve engineering practicesHelp uphold high standards for security, performance, and data integrity across the platform Qualifications 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production softwareStrong full-stack skills, with proficiency in Python, modern API design, React, and TypeScriptExperience building scalable, cloud-native SaaS products, ideally on AWSSolid understanding of databases, distributed systems, testing, and secure coding practicesAbility to work independently, own features end-to-end, and collaborate across functionsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience in fintech, accounting software, or family office/wealth management is a plus Compensation and Benefits Asseta offers competitive compensation along with a benefits package that includes: Base salary of $150,000–$225,000Equity plan eligibilityComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageUnlimited paid time offConference sponsorships and training opportunitiesFrequent company off-sites and team-building eventsOn-site at our New York City headquarters
