Senior Full Stack Software Developer (x3) Location: University Avenue, Toronto (Hybrid: Up to 3 days onsite per week, subject to hiring manager's discretion)Contract Duration: October 19, 2026 – October 4, 2027 (250 Business Days)Incorp Rate: $95-$98.07 Position Summary The Enhancing Home and Community Care (HCC) Digital Connectivity Program is executing a multi-year strategy to modernize the HCC digital ecosystem. This initiative aims to reduce dependencies on the legacy Client Help and Related Information System (CHRIS) platform and establish the foundation for a future-state home care ecosystem. Our client is seeking three Senior Full Stack Software Developers to lead the decomposition of monolithic legacy systems into modular, scalable, and interoperable services. Candidates will leverage deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, modern web frameworks, Azure cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture to deliver high-performing healthcare solutions. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Modernization: Decompose monolithic legacy applications (CHRIS, ASP.NET Framework, WCF, Windows Services, Windows Forms) into modular microservices and APIs. Execute phased migration roadmaps with minimal business disruption.Full Stack Development: Design, build, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications utilizing C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and modern JavaScript.API Engineering & Security: Develop, secure, and integrate RESTful APIs using OAuth2, JWT, and modern authorization patterns.Cloud & DevOps (Azure): Configure, deploy, and support Azure cloud services—including App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Event Hub, Azure Data Explorer (ADX), Key Vault, and Application Insights. Maintain CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and Git.Database Optimization: Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases, writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing schemes, and execution plans.Performance & Reliability: Build high-performance, multithreaded, asynchronous applications. Conduct production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning across application, database, and cloud layers.Collaboration & Quality: Conduct code reviews, enforce clean code practices, maintain comprehensive documentation, and work closely with architects, analysts, QA, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.Mandatory Requirements ("Must Haves") Modernization & Legacy Transformation: Demonstrated enterprise experience decomposing monolithic platforms into modular services/APIs and successfully executing phased migration roadmaps.Backend Expertise (.NET): 10+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications with C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, and legacy .NET Framework (3.5/4.x).Frontend Expertise (Angular): Strong professional experience with Angular, component-based architectures, state management, responsive UI design, and AngularJS legacy migration paths.Solution Architecture & Design: Deep knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API-first design, event-driven architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.Cloud & Database Competency: Proven capability with Microsoft Azure cloud services and advanced T-SQL performance tuning.Candidate Requirement: Must include a valid LinkedIn ID directly on the submitted resume.Desired Skills & Assets Healthcare Sector Experience: Background working within public sector healthcare environments.Healthcare Interoperability Standards: Familiarity with HL7 standards, healthcare messaging, and FHIR resources/APIs.Integration Engines: Hands-on experience developing, configuring, and monitoring channels within Mirth Connect.
