We are seeking a dedicated Function Owner for Remote Update (OTA) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will conceptualize and design innovative remote update features for in-car components and Electronic Control Units (ECUs) including infotainment systems.Your Role & Responsibilities:As an OTA Function Owner, you will:Define and Design Remote Update Solutions: Develop comprehensive concepts and designs for updating in-car components via Remote Update (OTA), ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all systems.Ensure customer satisfaction with great user experienceRequirement Specification: Establish clear requirements from customer, system, and software perspectives to guide development and implementation processes effectively.Incorporate Cybersecurity and Standards: Integrate cybersecurity measures and adhere to internal standards to ensure the security and performance of remote update features.End-to-End Verification: Lead thorough verification processes to validate the reliability and efficiency of the OTA functionalities throughout the development lifecycle.Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist in obtaining software update regulation compliance certifications and facilitate related testing activities to meet industry standardsInnovation & Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends to meet the evolving requirements of smart cockpit products. QualifikationenTo thrive in this role, you should:Have a strong background in automotive software, especially in Android, Linux and QNX environmentExperience in Software Update, Network communication & diagnosis, Onboard-Offboard communicationProficient with vehicle Software Update and diagnostic update feature, requirement, technical logic, and operation process, can give the /design/solution independently.Good understanding and/or knowledge of automotive electronics architecture.Familiar with vehicle Buses, e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet and bus protocol like UDS, DOIP, SOME/IP, and related diagnostic mechanism.Familiar with onboard-offboard communication chainFamiliar with cybersecurity mechanismsExcellent problem-solving skills with a strong sensitivity to technical risks and the ability to support and resolve issues across all stages of the product lifecycle.Fluent in English and Chinese for clear and efficient communication with other teams in China and worldwide.Join us and be at the forefront of automotive software innovation—driving the evolution of smart, connected vehicles with your expertise in Android software architecture.
