We are looking for Specialists and Team Members to join us in crafting a wide variety of vehicles from the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV to our all-electric electric vehicle, the EQS SUV and EQE SUV. Our Tuscaloosa County site is home to the production of Mercedes’ luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles. Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Our two campuses are among the most advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world, with over 6 million square feet combined. Essential Functions: Analyze business and manufacturing processesAssist with process analysis and optimization projectsSupport workshop preparation and facilitationAnalyze performance metrics and KPIsDevelop and implement improvement measuresParticipate in digitalization initiativesSupport data-driven decision making activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholdersAssist with project management activitiesApply MPS methodologies and lean principlesContribute to operational improvement projectsGain exposure to manufacturing operationsSupport problem-solving and process improvement effortsParticipate in continuous improvement activities Other regular daily tasks: Participate in continuous improvement workshops and operational meetingsSupport process analysis and performance evaluationsAssist with project planning, implementation, and follow-up activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement initiativesSupport KPI tracking, reporting, and data analysisAssist with development of presentations, reports, and workshop materialsParticipate in shopfloor observations and process improvement activitiesSupport the rollout, user adoption, and stabilization of digital tools within manufacturing processes QualifikationenQUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
