Our Tuscaloosa County site is home to the production of Mercedes’ luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles. Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Essential Functions: Analyze and optimize Assembly production management processesSupport standardization of shop floor management systemsWork directly with production management teamsAssist with cross-functional problem-solving activitiesSupport resolution of product and process-related issuesCollaborate with Body Shop, Paint Shop, and supplier partnersDevelop and implement improvement measuresParticipate in process optimization initiativesSupport data analysis and performance reportingContribute to continuous improvement projectsGain exposure to automotive manufacturing operations Other regular daily tasks:Daily attendance and evaluation of Assembly Core Teams and Escalaton MeetingsDrive problem resolution for complex and legacy topicsSupport shopfloor process managementRegular reporting of project and problem solving status and next steps QualifikationenQUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
