Salesforce Developer

Job Title: Salesforce Developer Location: Memphis, TN preferred, with 1–2 days per week at headquarters preferred; fully remote candidates considered Overview We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to take ownership of enhancements, production support, new development, and integrations. The immediate priorities are Apex coding enhancements and cleanup, along with significant work connecting/integrating Salesforce to other systems. This developer will work directly with support analysts and Sales and Marketing stakeholders, investigate issues, develop solutions, and move assignments through completion with minimal day-to-day direction. Strong technical judgment and clear communication are essential in this fast-paced support environment. Responsibilities Develop and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Flows.Investigate production issues and own support tickets from troubleshooting through implementation and validation.Develop and support integrations and data flows between Salesforce and other systems.Design, document, test, and deliver new functionality and improvements to existing functionality.Review errors and performance information, resolve technical issues, and maintain documentation of code and key processes.Work directly with analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teammates to understand needs, explain solutions, and manage work independently.Support appropriate application access and security practices, and complete documentation and knowledge transfer when handing delivered work to support teams.Use established development processes and source control; apply AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency and accuracy.Required qualifications Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, particularly Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Flows.Demonstrated ownership of complex Salesforce development, integrations, and production support. Six or more years of experience is a general guide; relevant accomplishments carry more weight than a specific year count.Experience integrating Salesforce with at least one other system.Ability to troubleshoot independently, own work through resolution, and perform effectively in a fast-paced support environment.Excellent communication with technical colleagues and nontechnical business stakeholders.Familiarity with GitHub or another mainstream source control product.Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Codex, Copilot, ChatGPT, or comparable tools, to support development work.Preferred qualifications Familiarity with Sales and Marketing workflows, Salesforce Service Cloud, or Agentforce.Experience with technologies or practices listed as bonus points includes REST services, continuous integration, Azure services, C#/.NET, SQL administration, Power BI.
