Forward Deployed Engineer

🚀 Forward Deployed Engineer | UK / EU | Remote I’m working with a growing AI company that is hiring multiple Forward Deployed Engineers to help deliver AI and agentic solutions directly into enterprise customer environments. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, building AI solutions and taking ownership from initial discovery all the way through to production. What you’ll be doing: • Own customer deployments end-to-end, from discovery and scoping through to production/go-live • Work directly with customers to understand workflows and identify opportunities for automation • Translate business processes into agent logic, actions, decision rules and fallback processes • Build and deploy AI agents and integrations • Write integration code, scripts and prototypes using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL and APIs • Integrate AI agents with ERPs, portals, spreadsheets, email and custom systems • Debug and improve live AI agents in production • Lead technical customer sessions and build relationships with senior stakeholders • Create reusable deployment templates, patterns and runbooks • Feed customer insights back into Product and Engineering What they’re looking for: • 5+ years’ experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, Technical Consultant or similar hands-on delivery role • Proven experience shipping AI/agentic systems into production within customer environments • Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, APIs and MCP • Experience owning the full delivery lifecycle from customer scoping through to go-live • Strong Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL skills • Comfortable working with REST APIs, JSON and webhooks • Strong customer-facing skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders • Experience working with enterprise customers and complex workflows • Happy to travel across the UK and Europe around 3 days per week during active deployments Experience in retail, e-commerce, CPG, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing or logistics would be a bonus.
