Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

This role is only open to people with Active SC and NPPV3 clearance Futures are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to support the development and deployment of software products within UK policing environments. This is a hands-on development role for someone who can work autonomously within a secure environment, contributing across the product lifecycle from technical design and development through to deployment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy secure, scalable software solutionsBuild modern front-end applications using ReactDevelop and integrate backend services and APIsBuild and deploy cloud solutions within AWSDevelop solutions using AWS Lambda and serverless architecturesSupport the deployment of software into secure UK policing environmentsContribute to technical design and architectural decisionsWork closely with product and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into working softwareSupport the integration of LLM and AI capabilities where appropriateEssential Experience Strong hands-on software engineering/development backgroundStrong commercial experience with ReactStrong AWS experienceExperience with AWS Lambda and serverless technologiesStrong API development and integration experienceExperience building and deploying production-grade softwareComfortable operating independently in a senior, hands-on development roleActive SC and NPPV3 clearanceDesirable Experience Experience integrating LLMs, Generative AI or AI servicesPrevious experience delivering technology within UK policingExperience deploying applications into secure or highly regulated environmentsKnowledge of modern DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-native development practices
