Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Position Summary The Sr. Software Engineer is primarily responsible for the design and development of software applications and reusable software components deployed in the Cotiviti product suite. This person is expected to foster high performing technical teams and will collaborate effectively with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders. Responsibilities ● Utilize AI software development tools in all aspects of the day to day job ● Create AI agents, hooks, skills, and workflows to automate creation of code, unit test creation, unit test execution, and PR generation ● Support and enhance high quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite ● Utilize AI to analyze and resolve software related issues originated from internal or external customers ● Utilize AI to document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll out ● Demonstrate proficient working knowledge of the primary discipline and a developing knowledge of related disciplines ● Execute solutions enhancements to improve performance / availability ● Communicate technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner ● Ensure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems ● Explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to existing processes or systems which improve efficiency and results ● Continuously improve and enhance knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite ● Execute all appropriate facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement ● Mentor other developers ● Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan ● Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned ● Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation Requirements ● BS degree in computer science or technically related discipline ● Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience ● Demonstrated AI-first approach to software development lifecycle using Claude Code or ChatGPT ● Demonstrated experience creating agents, skills, hooks, and MCP to enable and accelerate software development ● Solid understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering, and harness engineering concepts ● Minimum 5 years of frontend web development experience using React ● Minimum 5 years of experience with common application frameworks (JEE — Spring Boot, Struts, Hibernate) ● Minimum 5 years of experience with RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL programming; MS SQL Server preferred ● Demonstrated proficiency with at least one widely used programming language such as Java, Python, or C#, and scripting languages such as JavaScript ● Strong proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs ● Hands-on experience with OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) ● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development methodologies ● Knowledge of cloud development and microservices ● Understanding of prevalent Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, with exposure to Agile Scrum techniques preferred ● Ability to execute project deliverables in a dynamic, fast paced environment within estimated timelines ● Good written and oral communication skills
