Software Development Engineer (Junior) Location: Poland (remote) Duration: starts with 6 months with possible for extension Estimated Experience: 2–4+ years Introduction: We are seeking talented Software Development Engineers to join our team and play a critical role in enhancing and scaling the customer product trial experience. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative initiatives that transition manual and third-party trial processes into seamless, scalable, in-application experiences. The successful candidate will contribute to expanding external alpha and beta testing capabilities, integrating customer feedback mechanisms, and implementing consent workflows within the product. This role is pivotal in driving customer engagement and satisfaction by delivering robust, customer-facing application features that directly impact the trial journey. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop new web application functionality based on established system designs to support external alpha/beta trial enrollment and participation.Build and integrate in-app surveys and customer feedback features to capture user insights without disrupting the product experience.Implement customer-facing video consent workflows, including backend integrations to support AI training data collection.Create and maintain REST API integrations connecting frontend functionality with backend services.Develop and embed web-based experiences and webviews within the application environment.Transition manual and third-party trial processes into scalable, automated in-app experiences.Write clean, reliable, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to best practices.Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, integration, and deployment activities.Troubleshoot and resolve issues spanning application frontend and backend systems.Contribute to the continuous evolution and expansion of product capabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).3+ years of professional experience in software development.Proven experience in web application development with a solid understanding of front-end and application development concepts.Demonstrated ability to integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services.Experience working with modern software development frameworks and tools.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with webviews or embedded web experiences in mobile or desktop applications.Background in developing customer-facing products or features.Familiarity with cloud-based applications or services.Experience working across both frontend and backend components.Knowledge of customer enrollment, experimentation, survey, feedback platforms, or consent management workflows.Exposure to AI/ML-related products or data collection workflows is a plus. Tools and Technologies: Web Application Development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).REST API design and integration.Familiarity with backend technologies and services (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python).Version control systems such as Git.Development and debugging tools for frontend and backend.Experience with embedded web technologies and webviews within applications.Cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred but not mandatory.
