Software Engineer

Mindex is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Product division. You'll design and build cloud-native applications on .NET and AWS, using AI-assisted engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle. You'll work closely with Product, Test Engineering, Support, and CloudOps to deliver reusable services and reliable infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a curious, detail-oriented engineer eager to own solutions end-to-end and adopt modern AI-assisted workflows. Compensation $70,000 - $120,000 What You'll Accomplish Apply AI-assisted engineering practices (AI DLC) across the development lifecycle, sharing effective workflows and patterns with the team.Design and maintain APIs, background services, and reusable business logic using .NET and C#.Build customer-facing features, including UI, Blazor apps, and .NET MAUI mobile functionality.Develop cloud-native solutions and infrastructure as code on AWS, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting) and investigate production issues to identify root causes.Apply security, privacy, and least-privilege principles across application and infrastructure work.Participate in technical design, estimation, code reviews, and incremental delivery.Collaborate with Product, Test Engineering, Support, and CloudOps to resolve dependencies and deliver complete solutions.Document architecture and technical decisions to support long-term maintainability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Three or more years of software engineering experience developing and supporting production systems.Experience with AI-assisted development tools and structured practices such as the AI DLC, including evaluating AI-generated output against normal engineering standards.Experience developing applications and services using .NET, C#, Web API, ASP.NET MVC, and RESTful APIs, including reusable services and shared business logic.Experience building web and cross-platform applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Blazor, and .NET MAUI.Working knowledge of relational database design, SQL, and performance troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, IAM, and CloudWatch, and understanding of cloud architecture, security, and high availability.Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.Experience implementing observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting) and troubleshooting distributed applications and production issues.Experience with automated testing, source control, code review, and Agile delivery in cross-functional teams.Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills. Licenses & Certifications: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus. Why Join Mindex?
