Test Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension). Location: Leiden, Netherlands. Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate! Experience: 8-10 years. Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office Your Profile & DNA: We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer who will be responsible for preparing, executing and documenting tests to verify that products meet the required quality and performance standards before delivery. Roles & Responsibilities Prepare and execute functional and qualification tests on Solar Array components and subsystems;Support the verification and validation of products throughout the development process;Analyse test results and report findings;Prepare test documentation and technical reports;Work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical issues;Contribute to continuous improvements within the testing process;Support multiple space projects simultaneously. Qualification & Experience Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar;Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience;Experience within a technical or high-tech manufacturing environment;Experience with CAD software;Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word;Strong communication skills in English;A proactive and quality-driven mindset.Experience within the aerospace or space industry is considered a plus.
