Verification Engineer | Satellite Communications Manufacturer | Lake Constance, Germany (Hybrid)
Salary: €65,000 - €80,000
An established satellite communications manufacturer on Lake Constance is growing its verification team, testing satellite modems, terminals, and network systems used in defence, air traffic control, and government networks worldwide.
In this role you'll build automated test suites, apply configurations across connected devices, and verify connectivity and performance over real satellite links and emulators.
You don't need a satellite background, as the team will upskill you on the RF side - what matters is solid network testing experience and a structured way of working.

Responsibilities
Verify and test satellite communication products, from the modem up to full network levelBuild and maintain automated test suites in Python (PyTest) covering data communication, IP routing, and network managementApply and validate configurations across connected devices in lab and emulated satellite environmentsTest satellite and emulator connectivity and performance, and document the resultsCarry out error analysis and support software integrationSupport the customer support team in implementing customer requirements
Skills Required
Several years in verification or testing of networking or communications productsPython test automation, ideally PyTestSolid IP networking (TCP/IP, routing)English language skills
Strong Differentiators
RF or satellite communications knowledgeCI tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and JiraNetwork management protocols (SNMP, NETCONF) and requirements traceability
