Primary Location: Lisle, IL (Onsite) ( 4 days a week Onsite)

OVERVIEW
A Senior Software Engineer (.NET/React Developer) to contribute to the My International Sales (MIS) product initiative.
The ideal candidate is proficient in both .NET Core and ReactJS, has experience across the full software development lifecycle using an Agile framework, and is skilled in modernizing and enhancing existing web applications while ensuring long-term application performance.
This person should be comfortable supporting mission-critical systems while leading modernization initiatives that improve scalability, reliability, automation, security, observability, and long-term maintainability, and should work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE.
(IDEAL EXPERIENCE)
Minimum 5+ years of development experience with ASP.NET / .NET Core using C# (and/or VB.NET) in Visual Studio IDEMinimum 3+ years of development experience with ReactJSExperience developing Web APIs in .NET CoreExperience writing extensive unit tests and Web API testingGood understanding of security, performance, and scalability considerationsExperience modernizing legacy ASP.NET Web Forms applications to .NET Core + ReactStrong understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, and jQueryExpert-level knowledge of SQL, including writing complex queries and stored proceduresSkilled in working with SOAP and REST servicesGood understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principlesUnderstanding of the GitFlow branching strategy and deploymentsFamiliarity with deploying to Kubernetes clustersUnderstanding of SOLID design principlesExperience with code refactoring and design patternsFamiliarity with ADO or JIRAExperience with CI/CD, deployment pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, or DevOps practicesFamiliarity with TFS and GitFamiliarity with AzureStrong understanding of technical best practices to support an agile environmentFamiliarity with Telerik is a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
