Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

For our client – an international technology company developing secure digital solutions for identity verification, electronic signatures and digital services – we are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer (Go) to join their growing technology team. About the Role As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality backend services and APIs that support critical digital products. You will work closely with Product, Frontend, Mobile, QA, DevOps and Security teams, contributing not only to development but also to technical decisions, architecture and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing and maintaining backend services and APIs using Go (Golang);Building scalable, secure and high-performance microservices;Developing containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes;Designing and maintaining integrations with internal and external systems using REST and/or gRPC;Participating actively in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions;Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept through production;Ensuring the reliability, performance and high availability of production systems;Identifying technical risks and contributing to effective solutions;Following security standards, internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements;Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes, tooling and engineering practices;Working together with DevOps teams on CI/CD and release processes within a Kubernetes-based environment. What We’re Looking For 3–5+ years of professional backend development experience with Go (Golang);Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle;Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs;Familiarity with gRPC would be an advantage;Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TLS and secure data transmission;Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and other authentication and authorization mechanisms;Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL;Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes;Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines;Good understanding of microservices and clean architecture principles;Ability to write clean, efficient and well-tested idiomatic Go code;Good command of technical English.
