Software Developer (.NET Engineering Applications)

Hiring: Software Developer – .NET / Engineering Applications Location: Palm Beach County, FL I’m currently recruiting for a Software Developer to support the modernization, development, and integration of internal engineering applications and workflows. This role is a good fit for someone with a strong C#/.NET development background who is comfortable working across both modern applications and legacy systems. The developer will work on web applications, APIs, SQL Server integrations, scripting and automation, while also supporting engineering platforms such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ESRI GIS. Key areas of responsibility include: • Developing and enhancing applications using C# and .NET • Building and maintaining web components using Angular, Blazor, and Node.js • Developing and supporting REST API integrations • Working with SQL Server and application data integrations • Supporting automation using PowerShell, CMD, and batch scripting • Assisting with modernization and reverse engineering of legacy applications • Supporting AutoCAD customizations, MicroStation upgrades, and GIS integrations • Working closely with engineers, technicians, analysts, and project managers to translate operational needs into technical solutions The strongest candidates will have hands-on experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server, APIs, and application development, along with the ability to troubleshoot and modernize existing systems. Experience with AutoCAD automation, MicroStation, ESRI GIS, or engineering applications is highly valuable, but experience with every platform is not required.
